Unlock the Power of Effort Values (EVs)

In the world of Pokémon, training isn't just about leveling up, it's about harnessing the potential of your Pokémon through Effort Values (EVs).

Understanding EVs:

EVs, or Effort Values, are points that boost specific stats and make your Pokémon more powerful. These values are earned through dedicated training and battles.

The EV Training Process:

  1. Acquiring Power Items: Begin by purchasing a power item from p!shop 4 after selecting the Pokémon you want to enhance. Use the command p!buy item <power item> to make your purchase.
  2. Choosing the Right Power Item:

    • There are six Power Items, each designated for a specific stat and costing 2,000 Credits:

Power Weight: Boosts HP effort values for your Pokémon.
Power Bracer: Enhances Attack effort values for your Pokémon.
Power Belt: Strengthens Defense effort values for your Pokémon.
Power Lens: Amplifies Special Attack effort values for your Pokémon.
Power Band: Augments Special Defense effort values for your Pokémon.
Power Anklet: Accelerates Speed effort values for your Pokémon.

    • Select the appropriate Power Item based on the specific stat you want to enhance for your Pokémon's EV training.

    • Additionally, consider consulting relevant tags for specific guidance on preferred EVs for Pokémon suited for raids.

If you're unsure which one to buy, seek guidance in the #question・help section in our Support Server or consult relevant tags.

For example: ?Tag raidmeta: Discover which Pokémon and moves excel in raid battles.
?Tag kyogre: Explore preferred EV distributions for Pokémon that shine in raids.

  3. Boosting EVs:

Once you've acquired a power item, you can increase your Pokémon's EVs through various methods, including:
     Spawn Duels (sd) (Most Efficient)
     Friendly Duels (Not Guaranteed)
    Raids
Dueling AI (available in Medium and Hard Difficulty only)

Important Limits:

It's essential to note that there are limits to how many EVs a Pokémon can have:

  • The maximum limit of total EVs on a Pokémon is 508.
  • The maximum limit of EVs on a single stat is 252.

Additionally, it's worth noting that accumulating 4 Effort Values (EVs) in a particular stat will result in an increase of 1 Individual Value (IV) point in that same stat, further shaping your Pokémon's potential.

If you accidentally raise the wrong EV stat for a Pokémon, don't worry—we've got you covered. This bot includes berries that can be used to decrease EVs. Click Here!

Harness the power of EVs and fine-tune your Pokémon's stats to create a formidable team ready for any challenge in your Pokémon journey!
